Scytale is a SaaS startup that helps other SaaS companies get compliant and stay compliant with security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA so they can prove to their prospective customers that it’s safe to work with them. We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Inbound SDR to join our marketing team and play a key role in our company’s growth.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an Inbound SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up in order to generate high-quality meetings and demo calls for account executives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification: Respond to inbound leads and inquiries generated from marketing campaigns, website traffic, and other channels. Qualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure they meet our target customer profile. Once qualified, schedule high-quality meetings and product demonstrations.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in our CRM system. Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline to ensure a smooth handover to the sales team.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of security compliance and privacy, as well as our platform, features, and benefits. Effectively communicate our value proposition to potential customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align on lead generation strategies, feedback on lead quality, and improve overall sales processes.
- Follow-up: Follow-up and engage with potential customers who were interested but did not buy. Report to management on activities, targets and key results.
- Team Work: Work closely with the Inbound SDR Team Lead and fellow team members to meet individual and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (HubSpot experience an advantage), sales tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.), and other digital platforms. Overall strong computer literacy skills.
- Self-Motivated: Strong work ethic, self-discipline and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Global Mindset: Ability to engage with prospects from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds. Multilingual skills are a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, International Relations or Law or a related field – A MUST.
- Graduating with honors – AN ADVANTAGE.
- Native English speaker with outstanding written and oral communication skills – MUST
