Role Overview

We’re looking for a Field CISO to join our growing team and play a strategic role in our go-to-market efforts.

In this high-impact position, you’ll act as both a security advisor and presales partner, helping accelerate complex enterprise deals, build customer trust, and position Scytale’s security posture as a business enabler. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, partnerships, product, and leadership teams to remove compliance blockers and translate technical risk into business value.



Requirements

  • 5+ years in security-focused roles (CISO, Security Architect, Presales Engineer, Advisory CISO), ideally within SaaS or compliance-driven environments
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native security (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern SaaS architectures, and frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, CMMC, and NIST CMF 2.0
  • Strong presence and communication skills in front of customers and business partners with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business impact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Solution Architect, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Enablement
  • Join strategic sales meetings with enterprise prospects to address complex compliance and security topics and support risk assessments, helping organizations build their compliance architecture through the scytale technology. 
  • Sales Strategy Partner
  • Translate regulatory security requirements into business value and actionable plans; support AEs in accelerating deals by showcasing Scytale's security strengths.
  • Customer Trust & Assurance
  • Lead executive-level and security stakeholder briefings and webinars to demonstrate our internal control maturity and continuous compliance.
  • Thought Leadership
  • Represent Scytale at industry events, contribute to content on cloud security and compliance, and support customer-facing messaging.
  • Sales Content & Tools
  • Build repeatable, scalable playbooks, objection-handling guides, and enablement materials for GTM teams targeting CISOs and security teams.
  • Internal Feedback Loop
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions.
